Shall we call her ‘Sassy’ani Gupta?
By Anushka Mulchandani
I’m not sure Sayani Gupta has “arrived” in Bollywood just yet. She's about three movies old, and we’re expecting to see her in two more very soon. What I do know is this; whether she has arrived or not, her style most definitely has, and it’s here to stay!
Promotions, parties and events make up a major chunk of any celebrity’s week and dressing up for these outings is something everyone has a stylist for.
Shreeja Rajgopal is the woman behind Sayani’s look and telling you she’s doing a stellar job would be putting it mildly. I’ve seen her in everything, from Payal Khandwala and Hemant & Nandita to high-street labels like Zara and to be honest, I just can’t get enough!
Here are 10 outfits I’d be happy to steal from her wardrobe:
In Nishka Lulla
That may look like a jumpsuit but it’s actually a long, asymmetrical top with palazzo pants. She can wear yellow from head to toe and still look hella’ good!
In Pero by Aneeth Arora
All white is a foolproof combination and she knows it. If Gupta ever had to switch professions, she could very well be a stylist; she put this one together herself.
In Payal Khandwala
Not a lot of people can pull off such striking color blocked shades; Sayani doesn’t seem to have any problem with it at all.
In Jade by Monica & Karishma
Some people have a knack of looking fabulous in quirky fusion wear. But it seems like Sayani can even go all out traditional without a hitch.
In Lola by Suman B
Forget how she got into that outfit, just look at how great it looks on her! Her yellow pumps add just the right amount of color her otherwise muted outfit needs.
In Amit Aggarwal
It takes a special kind of person to rock a structured, origami dress and clearly we’ve found our hero!
In Manika Nanda
If you thought her everyday style was great, what do you think of her red carpet look? A draped dress doesn't get much hotter than this, does it?
In Madison on Peddar
Here’s an outfit I wouldn’t need to steal. Why? Because it’s already in my wardrobe! She can go from couture to casual without missing a beat; I love that her style is relatable and easy.
In Anupamaa Dayal
The off-shoulder trend is still going strong and almost every celebrity has been spotted wearing it. While most go with an off-shoulder top, Sayani’s flirty dress gets the job done just as well.
In Dolly J
How do you wear black but still look pretty as a princess? Let Sayani Gupta show you.
