You Need To See Anita Dongre’s Largest Couture Store Ever

Very few boutiques in the country will make you feel the way Anita Dongre’s new store will.

We’ve all marveled over Sabyasachi’s meticulously crafted spaces and Tarun Tahiliani’s recently refurbished Apollo Bandar boutique. When you buy something from their stores, you don’t just buy the outfit, you’re buying into the entire experience, and that’s what really takes it that next level.

That’s exactly what Anita Dongre’s latest couture store is like; located behind the Qutub Minar in Delhi, not only is the site opulent in itself, just wait till you see what it looks like on the inside!

As soon as you walk in through the grand entrance, the doors open onto 10,000 square feet of pure luxury. Thirty hand-painted Pichwai paintings adorn the walls while a traditional jhoola takes center stage.

No less than seven rooms host her curated pret line for men and women while a quick trip upstairs will lead you to seven more rooms, all exclusively for bridal services.

Inspired by nature, the space does a great job of communicating a sense of calm (so important when you’re a bride!) and we love the paintings featuring Indian flora and fauna. And turns out the scent of freshly brewed herbal tea, mint, lemongrass and ginger you might notice doesn’t come from incense sticks; it’s organically grown in their terrace garden!

Boutiques like these make you forget where you are; not such a bad thing when you’re shelling out big bucks for a gorgeous bridal outfit, wouldn’t you agree?
