Blair Waldorf once famously said, “Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It’s movement, design and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we’d like to be.” (She then went on to condescendingly tell Dan his scarf suggested that he’d “like to be a used-car salesman”, but that’s a story you already know if you were a close follower of the Upper East Siders.)
Taking off from her sartorial musing though, have you ever wondered what your dreamy doodles would look like drawn on a shirt? Or how a multi-hued water colour painting would be splashed across a dress? Well, we do!
Inspired by those little prints you leisurely sketched on the corner of your notebooks in class, by the smattering of colours on a canvas of whimsical musings, and possibly by a subliminal cue from Amal Clooney’s gorgeous red-black Giambattista Valli couture creation (from her post-wedding brunch), we styled four artsy outfits for you to channel your inner Picasso.
