…And stationery addicts all over the city emptied out their pockets
If the Japanese are known for anything, it has to be their innovation and functionality. How else would a brand like MUJI come to life? Known for their simple and clean designs, their products are still highly stylish and you’re definitely going to need a pair of blinkers when you enter their new Mumbai store.
While it isn’t very large, the newly launched Palladium outlet comes packed with everything; from stationery (lord save us all) and accessories to clothing, home ware, furniture, electronics, bedding, travel and beauty products.
One walk around the store and my basket (or two) was filled with a minimalistic toothbrush and holder, assorted types of pens, notebooks, a toner, home slippers, wooden salad bowls and a nifty little aroma diffuser.
While the Palladium store marks their first in the country, the brand, which initially started off with just 40 products, is said to launch in Bangalore in less than a month.
Here are 10 things from MUJI you need to add to your basket once you get there! (Note: They don’t offer online shopping in India just yet).
